WooCommerce address change requests: support workflow + copy‑paste replies
A WooCommerce workflow for delivery-address requests in classic and HPOS order screens. Verify the requester and the real fulfilment stage before confirming that a change can be made.

Check the request and the fulfilment system
- Match the correct order and confirm the requester through your normal support process.
- Check cancellations, order notes, actual warehouse activity and recorded shipment information.
- Ask the fulfilment owner whether a label, picking task or carrier handover prevents the change.
- Confirm any shipping-cost or tax consequence with an authorised operator.
- Save the approved shipping address and verify it in any connected warehouse system before confirming.
Do not decide from the status alone
Processing usually belongs to an order awaiting fulfilment, but your operational integrations may already have started a task. Completed alone is not proof of physical carrier handover. Use actual shipment evidence. Updating a shipping address does not automatically require a billing-address change, and a carrier redirect should never be promised before approval.
Keep a clear internal note
Record who verified and approved the request, which address was saved, which external system was checked and when the customer was informed. Limit access to address details. A reply draft does not perform this change; CaseKit leaves order edits to authorised WooCommerce users.
Copy-paste starters
Replace every placeholder, check the condition above each reply and remove any action or estimate that is not verified. These templates do not send messages or perform order actions.
