With CaseKit cost = support labour + $19 Pro / month. $19 per Shopify store, not per person. USD; taxes excluded. Year = 12 months at monthly billing.

Your assumptions, not a measured benchmark. This estimates the Gmail extension workflow. Allow for loading in generation, and checking and edits in review. You still review and send every reply. Recovered time does not automatically reduce payroll. Shopify Admin also works on its own; Gmail is optional.

How the calculation works

Your workload. Your timings. A comparison you can check.

1

Eligible replies

Eligible replies per person per day × people × working days. Count each reply once.

2

Time recovered

Eligible replies × (reply seconds without CaseKit − reply seconds with the Gmail extension), converted to hours.

3

Time value

Support hours × your hourly cost, calculated for each workflow.

4

After Pro

With CaseKit cost includes $19 × the number of Shopify stores per month. A year uses 12 monthly payments.

Use the same start and finish. Time one routine order-status email from opening it to sending the reviewed answer in both workflows. The example assumes the store is already connected. Setup, investigations and follow-up emails are outside this estimate.

Calculator questions

Where do these numbers come from?
From your editable task timings. The manual example totals 3 minutes 50 seconds. With CaseKit, the same reading and review times plus an illustrative 2 seconds to generate a draft total 52 seconds. These are assumptions, not measured benchmarks or a guarantee of generation speed.
Which replies does this estimate cover?
Routine Shopify order-status emails where the order can be identified and a usable draft is available. Count only eligible replies in your daily volume. Allow for loading in generation, and checking and edits in review. Setup, complicated requests and investigations are excluded.
What is a realistic reply time?
Time the same customer email from reading to sending with and without the Gmail extension. Enter each task’s time in the first tab and your draft generation time in the second. Reading and review stay synchronized between tabs. If you already use macros or a helpdesk, use that faster manual baseline.
Does CaseKit remove all of that time?
No. The CaseKit estimate retains the full time you enter for reading and reviewing, plus your generation time. You still check the answer, edit it when needed and send it yourself. Costs are support hours multiplied by your hourly cost, with monthly Pro included for each store. Yearly figures use 12 monthly payments. Recovered capacity does not automatically reduce payroll or increase cash profit.
Does this account for the cost of getting it wrong?
No. Copy-paste errors, wrong tracking numbers and follow-up emails caused by an inaccurate first reply are real costs, but they are too store-specific to model honestly, so they are left out.
