Shopify purchase orders support: B2B workflow + copy‑paste templates
Shopify B2B purchase-order support replies for references, agreed payment terms, partial shipments and documentation. Check the actual company account and approved terms before using a template.

Build a B2B case record
Record the Shopify order number, buyer’s purchase-order reference, company/location and the contact authorised to discuss the order. A PO document is not proof that payment terms were accepted or an order was approved. Confirm those details in the system your business uses for B2B accounts.
- Check ordered quantities against available and fulfilled quantities.
- Verify the agreed due date and payment instructions.
- Identify who can approve changes or cancellations.
- Check which invoice, tax or delivery documents actually exist.
Separate commercial terms from shipping facts
Use the contract or approved company terms for deposits, net terms and late-payment handling. Use fulfilment records for shipped quantities and recorded carrier events. A partial fulfilment should name the items already allocated to a package and the remaining quantities; do not treat every item as shipped.
What CaseKit can and cannot establish
CaseKit can help draft from the Shopify order context available to it. It does not approve a PO, create an invoice, verify ERP balances or authorise credit terms. Add independently verified B2B information during review. Keep commercially sensitive documents within the buyer’s authorised channel.
Copy-paste starters
Replace every placeholder, check the condition above each reply and remove any action or estimate that is not verified. These templates do not send messages or perform order actions.
